What types of storage units does Great Space offer?

Great Space offers various sizes of short or long term units for individuals and businesses at great prices.

What is climate-controlled storage?

Climate-controlled storage units are air-conditioned and ideal for items you normally keep in your home or business like furniture, clothing, files and other valuable items that need low humidity and a constant comfortable temperature. When comparing storage companies, always ask if climate-controlled means air conditioned.

What if I need more or less storage after I move in?

You’re the boss. We’re happy to help you select the unit that works best to serve your needs and transfer you into that unit at any time (subject to availability).

Am I renting or leasing my unit?

Your storage unit is on a month to month rental agreement. You may move out at anytime. However, we do request you give us a 7 day notice.

What must I bring with me to rent a space?

We require a copy of your driver’s license or passport.

ACCESSING YOUR UNIT:

When can I access my unit?

Your unit is accessible 365 days a year between the hours of 6:00am and 9:00pm.

What are Great Space’s Office Hours?

We’re open:

9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday

9:00 am – 2:00 pm Saturday

Closed on Sundays and holidays

Who can access my storage unit?

Only you and any person whom you have given a key and your personal access code.

What security features do you offer?

Great Space has access control systems in place that require use of a personal code to gain access to the facility. Multi camera video surveillance, store wide intercom system and high security cylinder locks further protect you and your possessions.

Do you provide dollies and carts?

To make your move in and out of your storage unit as easy and convenient as possible, we offer dollies and hand carts.

How big are your elevators?

Our elevators are oversized to handle your needs. They feature 4’ wide doorways and 9’ deep platforms, deep enough to handle almost any item.

MOVE IN/PACKING:

Do you sell boxes and packing supplies?

We offer a variety of boxes and moving supplies to meet all your packing needs

Are there any items I can’t store?

Combustibles, hazardous, toxic or illegal substances are specifically prohibited in our lease. In addition, no food or perishables may be stored at Great Space.

Can I store gas powered tools or vehicles?

Lawn mowers, trimmers, motorcycles, cars etc should be drained of all fuel before storing.

TERMS/PAYMENTS:

Are long term contracts required?

At Great Space Storage there’s no need for a long term contract as all space is rented on a month to month basis.

When is my rent due?

Rent is due on the monthly anniversary of your move-in date each month. If you wish to pay on a specific day each month we’ll be happy to arrange this.

Do I need insurance?

We believe that if your items are worth storing, they are worth insuring. Our lease asks that your items are insured. You may want to check with your home or rental insurer to see if your current policy covers items in storage. For your convenience third party storage insurance is available at Great Space. Great Space Storage does not insure customer’s belongings.

What credit cards do you accept?

Great Space accepts all major credit/debit cards, checks and cash. Avoid late fees! Ask us about our auto pay programs.

Do you accept deliveries?

We’re happy to receive deliveries for you with some restrictions (see Manager for details).

Will I receive a monthly invoice?

If one is needed, we’re happy to email you one.

Does Great Space have a guarantee?

At Great Space We Promise your complete satisfaction! Complete – No Excuses – No Exceptions.

If we fail to meet your expectations – for any reason during your first 30 days as our guest – We’ll do whatever it takes to make you happy. If we can’t – Great Space Storage will refund every penny of your unused rent.
